Sauberzauber Box – learning to wash hands through play – for nurseries & primary schools – up to 30 children

When washing hands becomes a magic trick: the Sauberzauber box

"Your hands look clean – but are they really?" That question starts a small adventure for children: the Sauberzauber box turns hand hygiene training into an exciting experience to join in with, marvel at and be proud of. The learning pack was developed by the WEPA Foundation together with HygieneCircle – the non-profit initiative of former international footballer Marcell Jansen – and WEPA Professional.

How the Sauberzauber works: The yellow learning soap shows which parts of the hands are still unwashed. In two simple "Dreckschreck" experiments, the young researchers discover how soap really works – and then magic their hands clean again with water, soap and the "tree protector" paper made from recycled fibres. Every child receives a Sauberzauber certificate as a reward.

What is in the box:

• Yellow Sauber-Zauber learning soap – shows unwashed areas on the hands
• Two child-friendly experiments on how soap works
• Recycled "tree protector" hand towel paper
• Teaching materials on hand hygiene
• A participation certificate for every child

Your benefits at a glance:

• One box is enough for a whole group of up to 30 children
• Hygiene skills through play for nurseries, kindergartens and primary schools – also ideal for general science lessons
• Paper and box made from recycled material
• Ready to use – no preparation, no prior knowledge needed

Who is it for? For nurseries, kindergartens, primary schools, after-school clubs, providers and support associations – and for everyone who wants to teach children the single most important health measure there is, through play: washing hands thoroughly.
